Judith A. ‘Judy’ Connelly (Roberts), 79, of Boyds, Maryland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
Judy was born in Rockville, MD on April 12, 1945, a daughter to the late George L. Roberts and Dorothy E. Roberts. She was the wife of the late Ralph S. Connelly for 56 years.

Judy was a cashier at the Safeway grocery store in Darnestown for 27 years. Following her retirement, she was a school bus attendant for Montgomery County Public Schools. Judy enjoyed traveling with her family on cruises and taking bus trips with her friends. She was a project leader and volunteer with the Montgomery County 4-H organization for several years. Judy also enjoyed crafting and scrapbooking with her dear cousin Joyce. Her witty sense of humor put a smile on the faces of everyone she connected with. 

Judy was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Connelly and brother George Roberts, Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Keith M. Connelly and wife Kathy of McConnellsburg, PA, Bruce L. Connelly and wife Beverly of Clarksburg, MD; grandchildren, Randell M. Connelly and partner Juan Vega of Stafford, VA, Holly C. Fellows and husband Jason of Walkersville, MD, Gregg M. Connelly and wife Jamie of McConnellsburg, PA, Heather M. Blache and husband Eric of Thurmont, MD, Russell D. Connelly of McConnellsburg, PA, Valerie D. Hagberg and husband Steven of Thurmont, MD, and Branden M. Connelly and fiancé Sarah Huber of Clarksburg, MD.
Judy is also survived by eight great grandchildren, Jaiden, Jenna, Jenson, Herbert, Russell Jr., Harper, Hailey and Bryce who were her true pride and joy. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 3rd from 1-3pm and 6-8pm at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd. (Rt. 109) Barnesville, MD, where funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4th at 11am.
Interment will follow in Darnestown Presbyterian Cemetery, Darnestown, MD.
